It has a locking feature so buttons will not activaate.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If dishwasher is closed, simply pressing START button will get it going. One of the setting is AUTO if you hit START it will do so in whatever cycle it chooses to be fit (usually not the faster one). But it has to be positively closed, of course.
