“What is the valve size that the water hose uses? I was told it needs to be 3/8", is this correct as I will need to have a plumber replace whatever is there now.”

Hi JC, thank you for your question and interest in Model:SHX3AR75UC. Per the Installation Instructions you will need an elbow connection with 3/4” female hose threads on one end and fits your water supply line (copper tubing, compression fitting, or braided hose) on the other. A hot water supply line - minimum 3/8″ O.D. copper tubing or metal braided dishwasher supply line and shut-off valve and fittings appropriate for hot water supply line (copper tubing/compression fitting, or braided hose).
