Hi there, thank you for your question. You may need to adjust the amount of rinse aid you are using. If your glasses have spots on them, you need more rinse aid. If your glasses have streaks on them, you need less rinse aid.

However, my everyday glasses (Target's finest) had a painted design, and it was also removing the paint. If you don't have anything painted, it might be fine. I don't remember that it did anything to plastic. When in doubt, do the glasses separately.....
