“Is air dry an option with this machine? If not, where is the vent for the heated air/moisture located? I have a cabinet at a 90 degree angle to the immediate left of my dishwasher and am concerned about damaging the cabinet.”

The only heat is from the hot water. The heat remains inside of the unit to dry the dishes. No venting at all unless you open the door.
