It says in the manual that the high heat of the water dries the dishes. The glasses, plates, pots, and silverware ARE dry after the wash. Plastic is still wet. Manual says that is because plastic can not reach a high enough temperature. But just today, it melted a plastic water bottle, so it certainly does get hot.
