Had this dishwasher installed yesterday. There's a loud buzzing or humming noise, not all the time but just briefly at times, perhaps when it's draining or filling but not sure. No other dishwasher we've had has done this. Is this normal for this one? null

No, mine is so quiet, we truly have to look at the floor light it projects to know if it's running or not.

I wouldn't call it a LOUD buzzing but i think that's the pump kicking on when the pump kicks on and it's draining the water out I believe, so maybe twice during a wash? Other than that it should be whisper quiet the whole time though.

Mine is so quiet I have had to check to be sure it’s on! No buzzing.

No. Ours is very quiet. It may be the surrounding area, but if it's the dishwasher, exchange it because it should be very quiet.
