• Manually set up P 01 mode. Read the manual page 38 Auto power off This setting determines the length of time the control panel stays illuminated after the cycle is complete. To save energy the recommended setting is ̃:‹‚. This setting can be adjusted from ̃:‹‹ to ̃:‹ƒ. ̃:‹‹ dishwasher does not turn off automatically ̃:‹‚ dishwasher turns off automatically after 1 minute....

• I found this out after the fact and purchase. The manual mentions it but it is very confusing. I just did not want to believe that it doesn't shut off automatically. It costs much more than my new home model Frigidaire which lasted 15 years!
