“Is model SHXM4AY56N a gloss black finish? I do not want the more modern matte or slate finishes. I need to match 11 year-old GE Profile gloss black.”

Unfortunately this dishwasher does not have a glossy black finish as I was disappointed to discover. It is definitely matte. We also were trying to match older appliances; it seems almost impossible to find appliances with that glossy finish today, believe me, we tried! On the positive, it's not really noticeable with everything else that goes on in a kitchen. And, it's a great dishwasher!

Hi Propane. Thank you for your question. The finish on the SHXM4AY56N, 24" 100 Series Dishwasher is a satin black finish.
