Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We recently purchased our new Bosch dishwasher in the 'black' color - not the black stainless steel - to match our other black appliances. The cover appears to be constructed of a thin metal, definitely not plastic, and not stainless steel. The one thing that surprised me was the color itself is a matte black, not shiny like our other appliances. Initially I was a bit disappointed by this because that was not made clear when we ordered/purchased it. It's not that big of a deal though. The dishwasher is great, highly recommend it.
