Great questions! Model HMB30155UC uses a cooling fan that vents warm air during operation. To ensure proper airflow, please refer to the manual for top/rear clearances required for a built-in installation. This model is compatible with our 27" (HMT5755) and 30" (HMT5055) trim kits and is secured via included mounting hardware.
