Typical for a dishwasher, risks to the floor are leaks at the water and drain lines. There is no tub to collect any leaks - it's up everyone to address for themselves. Personally, I connected everything up and ran it before sliding it under the counter so I could check for leaks. After pushing it under the counter, I'm down to crossing my fingers but so far, so good.
