This model does not have a heating element. It uses a condensation drying technique to dry the dishes with the help of a fan. The dishes are hot from the water, but no heating element so plastic does not melt. The normal cycle takes about 2 hours, there is a 60 min quick wash. The dishes are still pretty wet when the cycle ends. There is no other option I know of that will shorten the pre programed cycles.

Due to our Pure Dry/ Condensation Drying Process this dishwasher does not use any energy to dry your dishes. The final rinse uses high-temperature water to make the dishes very hot. The stainless steel tub of the dishwasher cools faster than your dishes because stainless steel cools faster than glass and porcelain. Condensation occurs when the moist air in the dishwasher comes into contact with the cooler stainless steel tub, and turns into water droplets. Since it’s a closed system with no fan, the cleaning process is more sanitary. With no exposed heating element, plastic utensils and dishes places on the lower rack will not melt. We recommend using Rinse Aid to help in this drying process.
