• I've had no problem, so it is possible it is a defect. I recommend contacting Bosch Customer Service. The phone number is 1-800-944-2904.

• This sounds like a problem that you need to fix. It can be one of several things but most likely the dispenser needs to be replaced. It costs about $35.
