• A:Answer Thank you for your question and interest in Bosch products! To maintain optimal performance, we do recommend cleaning the filter on a regular basis. It is designed for easy accessibility—simply rotate the top of the filter (the cylindrical part) counter-clockwise and lift it straight out. The large mesh screen can then be removed as well. We suggest rinsing both pieces under warm running water with a bit of mild soap. To reinstall, simply drop them back in and turn clockwise to lock them securely into place!
