We do not recommend or advise removing any components from a Bosch appliance to fit into an existing cutout space. Q: QuestionWhat specific features or cycles are only available if the app is set up? Is there a similar model that does not have WIFI. I was very close to buying this model, but I don't want this hooked up to the internet. What would I be loosing without the app?

Q: QuestionCan dishwasher drain be connected with garbage disposal versus air gap? That is ho my current GE, which can do either.

According to the installation instructions proper drain hose installation is as follows: ▶ The dishwasher drain hose must be installed with a portion of it at least 33” (84 cm) off the floor; otherwise the dishwasher may not drain properly. Remove garbage disposal plug ▶ If the dishwasher drain hose will be connected to a garbage disposal connection, first remove the plug from the disposal connection. Important notes for drain connection: If local ordinance require an air gap, install it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
