“Our Bosch 300 has been great but after 2 years the lower rack will not stay on the guide rails when filled with plates - it just falls off the rails when pushed fully back into the maching. Does anyone eelse experience this issue?”

Well I thought that the slide track wasn't a durable design the first time I used it.I hope mine holds up longer than yours did.
