I asked the same question multiple times to sales person & Bosch customer service directly, and they told me do NOT use stand to stack washer & dryer. You don’t want to spend this much money & have unit collapse due to weight limit. The stand is for one machine only. If you hire a professional carpenter, they can build a solid stand, but you want to make sure it’s level & can handle the weight. Otherwise during spin cycle it will vibrate loudly and drive you crazy.

Check before adding the pedestal. 2ndly, the pedestal will need to be fixed onto the floor and with a lip to prevent the washer and dryer from vibrating off the pedestal thus tumbling down or off the pedestal. You will then have two damaged appliances if they tip over, plus possible injuries to yourself.

Also, center of gravity on the pair gets too high when raised causing a potential tipping safety issue. Thank you for your interest in Bosch products.
