It is my opinion that this problem is also the cause of the foul smell some customers are talking about. I would nit recommend this dishwasher unless you want to dry your dishes by hand.

Bosch dishwashers do not have a heating element located inside the tub, but do have an internal flow through water heater which heats the water coming in. I did not realize that there were no heating units in their dishwashers and found that using regular cycles to wash many of the dishes came out wet and the sides of the dishwasher inside were still wet. When it is just finished, I open the dishwasher and hold it open with a small tube of something I no longer use. Then, after about 3 hours, most of the dishes are dry. I always use the setting that indicates the most drying that is possible. With this problem and some other things, I would not purchase this dishwasher again.
