“What is the height of frig from floor to top.? In other words, does the 72 inches from bottom to top of frig mean you have to add a half inch or inch to that height to compensate for how far off the floor the bottom of the refrigerator is?”

The top of the fridge is 72”. The bottom is only 1” from the floor which takes getting used to because it hits your toes if you’re barefoot.
