There are metal slides on the sides of the drawers. Inside the slides are black plastic levers. Pull up on the lever on the right side and push down on the lever on the left side. Simultaneously pull the drawer out and up. To reinstall it, set the drawer on the slides and push it in all the way. I hope that helps, even though it has been 6 months since you asked.
