This is a very nice looking, well made refrigerator. The interior space is very well designed. All is 5 star until you get to the ice maker. It is just as described in other reviews. SLOW. The manual says it makes 2.8-3.3 lbs. of ice in a 24 hr. period....not even close. I tested this and even lowered the temp to -3 degrees. It takes roughly 5 days to fill the box. We had the Bosch repairman come to troubleshoot. He said it was a water pressure issue. If that's the case, it has to be with the Bosch refrigerator because it replaced a 2 yr old (full size) french door Whirlpool (replaced only because of size). We had no issue with the ice production in that refrigerator. Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes, but not without telling them about the ice maker.

I had a similar Bosch in a home I purchased in 2015 and I love everything about it. I moved in 2017 and of course purchased another Bosch fridge. This one works well, but it has a feature on the shelves that wastes a huge amount of space and makes the actual useable height of the shelves 1” shorter than the actual height. Somehow I didnt notice it in the store despite looking at it a number of times. It could be that they changed the shelves recently and the store model didnt have the brace across the front of each shelf. Its almost impossible to seein the photos. A tall drink bottle wont fit without angling it and even worse, the upper shelves are only 3 1/4” high instead of 4” high if it didn’t have that weird brace across the front. It make it so that only ver short items can go on that shelf. The bottom shelf in 10’ tall because of the brace, Hill without it, it would be 11 1/8” high. If I can find shelves without the brace, it would be worth it to me to replace these shelves at my own expense because Best Buy won’t do anything about it.

I original purchased a Kitchen Aid and had second thoughts, so cancelled my order and started doing more research. That is when I found the Bosch. Very good looking and very quiet. I know there are several reviews about the ice maker, but we did not have it installed because we didn’t need it so I have no comment on that.noce thing about not installing the ice maker is, I get extra room in the freezer. Does not have water, but we drink bottle water anyways, so not an issue. Holds gallon containers in the door with no problem. Love the alarm feature for the doors if they are not closed all the way. Very happy with my purchase and cannot wait to order my new Bosch dishwasher soon.

The Bosch - 800 Series 20.7 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator was the exact design we were looking for. We were not interested in refrigerators with cold water and ice from the door. This model does not have that. We liked the refrigerator to be on the top and the freezer on the bottom. For decades we wanted a refrigerator like this. As we were shopping, most models had one drawer for the freezer. As we opened the door to observe, we commented that things that we would place on the bottom would never be used. This Bosch comes with two freezer drawers. We have already used items put on the bottom of both freezer drawers. The two drawers makes it easy to see and retrieve item place on the bottom. The refrigerator has plenty of space and many items are placed on the doors.

Have had the refrigerator two months and am happy with it. It's so quiet I almost don't notice when it's running even when I'm in the kitchen. The lighting is good on the interior,adequate in the freezer although the bottom drawer is a little dim. Love the layout of the upper space and flexibility with retractable shelves. Items are easy to see and accessible.The depth of door shelves are great with the exception of the two bottom shelves which are so narrow that they will only accommodate small items, (like hot sauce). As other reviewers have noted, the ice maker is painfully slow so plan ahead. I find the ice maker has a very high pitched hum that is annoying so I make ice then turn the ice maker off until needing ice again which works for us. Love the controls, very easy to use and read and the refrigerator responds quickly to a change in temperature. I'm really picky, did my research before buying, and am really happy with this refrigerator.

We purchased this refrigerator to replace a side-by-side that was over a decade old and having trouble keeping the refrigerator cool enough. We needed a counter-depth model due to the relatively small size of our kitchen, and we wanted a French door style with one or two freezer drawers. Other features we wanted: large enough vegetable and fruit bins (some brands have ridiculously small bins), digital controls, LED lights, ice maker (but we had not liked the in-door water and ice we had on the side-by side), the ability to make a shelf into a half-shelf to accommodate tall bottles, and a lot of usable door space. We have been able to fit quite a lot in the refrigerator portion--more than we did in the side-by-side. The shelves are laid out quite nicely, and we have not even made adjustments from the original factory positions. We don't use the egg trays (we kept the tray from the side-by-side, which we like better), but we think we could use one more door shelf and may order one. The freezer is a bit more space limited, although we have been able to fit virtually everything we needed without too much of a problem. We were a bit skeptical about the full-width tray at the refrigerator bottom, but have found ourselves using it for a number of items, especially cheese. This French-door refrigerator allows you to open the left door, access, and close it without touching the right door. I have struggled with other brands that require you to pop the right door just to get the left one in place. We live in Boston where the water is better than anywhere that we have lived, so the lack of a filter has not been a problem (we did flush things out with a few batches of ice at first). It senses when you need ice, so you don't have to manually turn it off. Unlike some reviewers, we have found that it makes plenty of ice. (Our other refrigerator did have a small water filter, but it was always unclear how often we needed to change it and when it might itself become a source of bacteria. If you really need a filter, we would think it might be better to get a more robust one that filtered both the sink tap water and the line to the refrigerator.) Our only caution/complaint is that the door-open warning is not loud enough. You really need to make sure the French doors are fully closed, because you won't easily hear the low-level dinging over a normal TV or stereo.

The store did not have the updated model to view. I was concerned with a counter depth refrigerator that the water/ice dispenser would take up too much space, so I went with ice dispenser in freezer. It takes up almost half of the top drawer and is surprisingly difficult to turn on and off. The refrigerator space is well designed and functional - the double freezer drawers leave too little space for food! Had I viewed a model, I would have gone with the door ice/water dispenser. Otherwise, very happy with purchase.

This is the Dream Fridge. Sleek, elegant, counter depth yet super roomy inside. This fridge has a place for absolutely everything and if there isn’t one, one can be made ex. There is this retractable shelf in the middle that can be adjusted to what size bottle or how high what you want to store is. You can lay platters and stack. The two drawer freezer is amazing for separating ice cream and sweets from savory and meats. I love it.

I needed a counter depth refrigerator and was looking for one with a bottom freezer. This is a beautiful and very functional refrigerator. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the crisper compartment widths do not match the width of the doors. So I need to open the left door to open the right side crisper. Not a big deal but it is just a little inconvenient. So I just keep the things that I need more often in the left side crisper.

Bosch German technology is exact with temperature settings no other US made fridge can compare. However being made in Europe is designed for Europe. Slow ice maker and shelf sizing doesn't handle American size products. Overall though I don't mind the short comings. Quality finish and well built

I love the quality of my new fridge. It is very quiet and works great. Also I like that it is counter depth so it takes less space in the kitchen. There is a lot more storage than in my old fridge which was bigger than this one. Great purchase!

The refrigerator is good. Very convinient for large trays and separating meats for other frozen goods. They removed the water dispenser from the outside of this new model which is a shame.

I know this doesnt have an in door Ice dispenser, but in my experience they only jam, freeze over, and allow your young children to get ice everywhere. This is counter depth, so you sacrifice some space, but the built in look is incredible and easy to use control panel is awesome. Beer stays super cold!

This fits everything you will need very easily. Adjustable heights on almost everything. The full length crisper drawers are great for trays. Ice maker can be a little noisy but I dont use ice frequently so I dont hear it frequently. Bosch appliances have been good to me.

I did a lot of research before I settled in on this Bosch Fridge. Looks Great, perfect size and extremely quiet. The shelving and compartments are really functional. The chill drawer is perfect for keeping my beers cold and also a great place to store deli meats and cheese.

I purchased a Bosch 800 Series refrigerator at Best Buy because it is a high end product that had a dent on the lower drawer and was missing a plastic ice tray. It was discounted at the huge amount and it has been a great purchase. Still has the factory warranty and also purchased the Geek Guys warranty.

Great refrigerator! The right size and has a lot of space

This refrigerator is beautiful and gives the kitchen an updated look. We had an old enormous white refrigerator for years so an update was needed. The interior has nice lighting when the doors open. We like the shelf that can be used full depth or pushed in half depth to allow a tall bottle like a wine bottle to fit.

This is a great appliance. It is extremely quiet and it holds a lot more food than I expected from a counter depth. We are very pleased

Refrigerator storage design should be more practical.
