Hi SSBackWall, thank you for your question and interest in Model:B36CL80SNS. This Refrigerator can't be ordered without the Stainless Steel interior back wall. However, the interior stainless steel back wall is made from the highest quality materials, and it has LED interior lighting. The bright lights illuminate the interior, so it is not dark.
