Does this come with the built in water softener? null

Hi Lyle, thanks for your question and interest in model # SHP78CM5N. This dishwasher model is not equipped with a water softening system.

From what I understand the only model with a built-in water softener is the 300 Series. If it does not say a special salt is required than there is no softener built in.
