Hi there. Thank you for your question. Yes, the digital will show if you open the door, but it must be done quickly for the cycle to continue.

Yes, you simply open the door, and the digital read-out will display the amount of time left. If you open and close the door quickly, the cycle will continue automatically. If the door is open for more than a few seconds, you'll need to press the START button again.
