• I have been shopping for a new dishwasher for the past few months and this model is not showing any indication of being discontinued from what I've seen or read anywhere.

• Hi Gary01. Thank you for your question. The 800 Series Dishwasher, Model:SHEM78Z55N is temporarily unavailable. You might like Model #SHPM78Z55N which has a similar look with a pocket handle. The main difference is the controls are on the top and not on the front of the dishwasher.
