It is not fingerprint resistant but you can make by applying ceramic coating sealing over the door. It is available from $10 to $50 on Amazon. Easier to clean after that and protect the new finish for longer time

That seems to be a marking ploy by companies that sell appliances with that option. I've seen fingerprint resistant stainless steel and if you're hands are really clean & dry, you probably won't leave fingerprints but if they're not or you're cooking & they're dirty, your appliances will get dirty. They even have a disclaimer that they don't resist all fingerprints. It would be worthless to have a dw with fingerprint resistant stainless anyway. You're hands are going to be dirty and/or wet when loading a dw so why bother. I just wipe mine down with a clean cloth with warm to hot water after loading & that keeps it very clean.
