The Bosch dishwasher does have drying cycle, but it doesn't have a heating element in the bottom. Bosch uses hot air distributed from a vent in the lower back side of the left side panel. This prevents spilled food or small plastic ware from falling on the element and burning. Dishes are dry when the dishwasher completes its cycle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does have a drying cycle but it dries by condensation, not by heating like the American dishwashers do. As long as you use Jet-Dry or something like that, you will get good results. The only issue I've had is with plastics. They tend to not dry well on the regular cycle but they will dry when you use the extra-dry cycle.

I have tried all the 'tricks' I could find - but my silverware and dishes on the right side are still not dry, and the interior has puddled water and is so damp if we close the door it smalls moldy within hours! If I could return this awful dishwasher I would!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has a dry cycle. It dries differently than the Kitchenaid. The Kitchenaid has a dedicated heating coil at the bottom of the unit. The Bosch heats the inside walls of the unit. The dishes all come out dry!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Machine had a dry button which when pressed makes dishes very dry. We also like Sanitizer button and heavy wash but takes nearly three hours. We like machine as it is very quiet (39DB) but there were problems with the door operating properly.

Just so you know. Don't waste your money on a product that doesn't dry your dishes. Mine are completely wet. Used their products that they included . Ridiculous. My former 16 year old model dried my dishes. So much for $ and technology. So, what if it's quiet. It sucks. Period.
