It’s hard to believe how hot this gets and how well it works. You have to wait a while before touching the dishes.... There is even a sanitize setting. 

I think it is well worth the money.

My series 8 Bosch is great. Dishes, glasses, pots, utensils are dry, spot-free and shiny clean using the normal 2.5 hour cycle. Rarely any food left to clean, and then only minor. Only wetness is due to depressions that collect water. Crystal dry defaults to coming on during this cycle. I would have to shut it off to see any difference but have no reason to do that.
