• Hi Dvdk, thank you for your question and interest in Model:SHXM78Z55N. The depth of the Bar Handle is 2 inches in the center and 1 3/4 inches on the side. We also have a Pocket Handle Dishwasher, Model: SHPM78Z55N that might be a better solution for you.
