The 500 Series Dishwasher, Model #SHXM65Z55N has the AutoAir Option, which when chosen will open the door when the interior of the dishwasher cools to 118 degrees F.

• Hi. No it does not automatically open but there is a small red light that shines on the floor while the dishwasher is at work. The light stops shining to let you know it is complete.
