No. When it finishes its cleaning cycle, the "active" light goes off & the dishwasher powers down. If you're unsure if the dishes are clean - you have to examine them. There is no "all done" indicator.

The light goes out when the dishwashing cycle is over. It is also the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned. I have to put my ear right in the door to hear it and ai have excellent hearing. It cleans the dishes extremely well, too.
