Hi Betsy, thank you for your question and interest in Model:HBL8661UC. The doors on this oven are the traditional pull down doors. Our Black Stainless Models have only been out a few years.

Run as fast as you can from this oven. It’s a piece of junk! Ours constantly overheats - wonderful feature in an OVEN!
