Doesn’t this mean that if Best Buy requires a credit card before they’ll place the order, that technically it’s been purchased at that time - even though the “expected “ arrival day to the store is already 2 months away. And likely may be delayed even beyond that?

The foregoing timeline begins to run upon the date of purchase, and shall not be stalled, tolled, extended, or suspended, for any reason whatsoever. As for an extended warranty, please contact the location where you purchased the cooktop for information.
