QuestionWe just purchased a Bosch Gas Cooktop. When installing our new cooktop and vent, how does one determine the CFM capacity needed in the vent hood?

- Answer Hi EigerGirl. Thank you for your question. One way to determine the CFM needed is to take the kitchen square footage, multiply by 15 (assuming 1 exhaust), then divide that result by 60.

QuestionWe do not have a overhead vent hood for our current gas cook top. We have a draft vent built into the cook top currently. Do we need to purchase a separate builtin vent for the new unit? if so, what do we need to do? Thanks
