A:AnswerBoth spec sheets are still viewable on the Bosch website. The new model has 2 halogen lights in the lower oven vs. 1 incandescent in the older model. The newer model has 125 W less max power draw but all the elements are rated at the same wattage as the old model. Microwave mode has been renamed to Speed Oven mode and a couple of additional meaningless mode renaming. Size and weight are identical. In general, newer models of anything have incorporated fixes from the previous model, but have also used cost saving measures. I do not know anything specific related to "new and improving" this particular model.
