“I would like to store my pots and pans in the drawer. How high is the drawer. Description says the drawer is a warming drawer. Does that mean it is not suitable for storage of pots and pans.”

The warming drawer has about a 4.5" clearance. You may not be able to put regular size pots and pans in there but I do store several of my baking pans in there. Re: cookie sheets, etc.
