Flaps are not bendable. You have to adjust the feet to the right hight.

Hi Raquel, thank you for your question. Model:HGI8056UC here are the dimensions for the range:Overall appliance dimensions: (HxWxD) (in.) 36 1/2"–38" x 31 1/2" x 29 3/16". Required cutout size: (HxWxD)(in.) 35 1/2"–37" x 30" x 25 1/4". Adjustable range height: (in.) 1 1/2". The metal sides are not bendable but due to the adjustable height it does give some leeway.
