Hi there, thanks for your question and interest in model # HGI8056UC. As per the drawing provided on the second page of the product specifications, the widest part of the appliance is situated at the front end. Consequently, the appliance may extend beyond the opening and may not be completely flush. However, the unit is designed to fit into the cutout opening, in accordance with the specifications.
