Hi JAnthony, thank you for your question and for your interest in model #SHP9PCM5N. The steam escapes through the PureDry™ condensation drying system. Additionally, this model includes the CrystalDry™ feature, which transforms moisture into heat resulting in the ultimate dry. There is also a small vent located at the rear, left side of the unit. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no steam vent. The steam condenses back into liquid as it cools after the cycle is complete (takes several hours for this to happen). Otherwise, the steam comes out when the door is opened.
