Yes you can use this salt Be careful when you purchase the bags are in metric measurements and sellers take advantage of Americans that can't do math.. example the answer to"how long does it last" was answered mentioning a 8 pound bag but the one listed on the web is 2-kg which is only 4.4 pounds. The price is all over the place on this product. Double check before you click. "An eight pound bag should last approximately 18 to 24 months."
