“100 Watts per channel Will a receiver/amp outputting 100W per channel be safe to use? I understand that the recommended range is 10-100W per channel at 4-8 ohms, But I do not want to risk blowing out the speakers by outputting the maximum recommended wattage. Thanks!”

By providing more power to a system than needed your able to get a better undistorted sound a lower volume levels. When you push the amp to max power you will get distortion that could damage speakers. I would use a amp with a slightly higher output than needed and limit volume to about 75%. Hope that helps
