“replacement mounting brackets I recently purchased the Bose 161 speakers on Ebay. I do not have the brackets. Can replacement brackets be purchased, or will other brackets work?”

Yes, you can purchase the brackets for these speakers. I have these speakers as my rears on my 7.2 surround system. I bought them from my local BB store. Most brackets from BOSE will fit these speakers, not hard to find.
