Thanks for your interest in the Bose Bass Module 500. The Bose Surround Sound Speakers and Bose Bass Module 500 use low-energy Bluetooth to pair with our SoundTouch 300, Bose Soundbar 500, or Bose Soundbar 700. Only one set (two speakers) of the Bose Surround Sound Speakers are compatible in the setup. For the best audio performance, we recommend placing all components in the area in which you will be sitting to enjoy your entertainment. We hope this helps! Ashley - Bose Support
