can I hook this subwoofer to my Sony Receiver? null

Honestly, I'm not sure. They way in which Bose made its recent entertainment system components, this is only compatible with the Bose soundbars. You need to connect this subwoofer via Bose app with a compatible soundbar. There's no wire connection to a receiver.

Bose Bass Modules would be compatible with Bose Soundbars only, and not compatible with non Bose devices.
