what is the range of talk for this bluthooth null

I have experienced up to 50 feet with line of sight but in my 2 story house, going thru walls and from the 1st to the 2nd floor and reverse, I get on average 20'-30'.

I've walked away almost 15 feet away from my iPhone with no issues. But there are no walls between us.
