“Having a "power" issue I've paired the headset with my PS3. While I am using the headset it suddenly turns off (chimes down and powers off). It does this even when the headset is fully charged. Am I missing something? Is there a sleep mode? If so, can I turn it off? Is there an issue with the connection with the PS3? I've gone through both the bluetooth and audio device settings and made sure that everything is correct. P.S. Might be a silly question but does anyone know if having the automatic power off settings on the controller have anything to do with this?”

I think you answered your own question. I am unfamiliar with connecting it to a PS3 but what you are describing sounds like it is going into power saving mode.

While they may pair up and function correctly some of the time, you will experience audio quality issues and frequent Bluetooth disconnection when attempting to use these two devices together.

The controllers can be changed to different automatic turn off times, but normally will die from power usage before turning off.
