• Definitely these sound so much better and fill the room much better. The little extra size makes a big difference with the bass reproduction too.

• Both are good. I preferred the Companion 20 because I like the bass quality. I also like the pod for volume control. Get the 2 Series if price is an issue.

• I have them both , for classical music i prefer the Bose Companion 2 Series III Multimedia Speakers. With the costlier ones the cello sounds like a contrabass.
