“does any 3.5mm audio cable work with this? i used an unbranded 3.5mm female to male cable to connect the bose to my phone but it doesn't play. only the bose original 3.5mm audio cable works. i need a loner wire than the original one it came with. thanks”

• Yes 3.5mm (1/8") stereo cable works. Im using a red braided audio cable from a popular online bidding/retailer website and it works flawlessly.

• Any generic 3.5mm stereo cable should be compatible with this system. Any length or extension totaling less than 50 ft would generally work just fine.
