“control pod extension cable? I want to know it there is a extension cable available for the control module? i cannot reach the control module where i sit, so is there a tipe of extension i could buy to extend the range?”

YES, you can use a Standard DiplayPort extension cable. Don't order a mini displayport extension, use the Standard size. Works perfectly.
