I have the same question for the Harman Kardon - Soundsticks III 2.1 Speaker System. These wires seem to be very specific and unique in order to produce the best sound. I may need extra length due to our desk top configuration.”

• I also noticed how short the Bose speaker wires are, and had to buy an extension from RadioShack. The guy assured me that the chord I bought wouldn't cut out on any audio quality, and as far as I can tell, he was right. It's a small cheep fix for great quality sound!
